I read an article in Sail magazine from Mr Calder back in 2015 but I can’t find if there was a follow up on the original article. So I am asking the best source of information available. Does anybody use those electronic anti-fouling devices and what are your results ? Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences.
I don’t know where you are located but here in Sandy Hook NJe on a mooring sailing 3 to 5 days a week I still have a growing problem. We bought a sailboat to sail not a condo on the water.

Re: UltraSonic anti-fouling
If ultrasonic anti-fouling worked it would already be on commercial vessels. Increased drag costs them hundreds of millions of dollars per year in increased fuel costs and bottom paint.

Various ultra sonic anti fouling devices have come and gone since the 1970's.
The best one hooked the speakers to a radio and you played rock music. Didn't do much to stop barnacles but it was fun to watch them dance.
