Hi all.

I agree with those people in another thread who like super siphons - we have one and it works with the provisos re spillage also mentioned there.

The other problem to do with moving nasty liquids is getting oil out of tight places like engine sumps.

This one:

is our solution. We have had the 650 (6.5 litres) for about six months now.

Simple to use and effective. A friend recently borrowed it and also liked it.

I've used the ones like the Big Pela 650 from various brands, and aside from the fact that it is one more "big oily thing to stow in a plastic bag with rags" I think they're way better than sliced bread, on a par with scotch tape, velcro, and the other major inventions of the 20th century.
