New Electric Rust Eater / End To Sandblasting

This thing would spell the end to many sand blasting and paint removal problems for the marine context.

What do you think.

The only problem is those machines start at a couple hundred grand and go up to half a million to buy. But you can rent on for a couple thousand a week. Unless you are doing a lot of sanding it's hard to justify the cost.

Yep $450 000 for the one in the video..

But, is it something that might become a future possibility? I remember the first Laptop I ever seen was around $12000. Digital camera's up around $16000 for a descent one.

In 10 years time we might see these devices drastically reduced and within reach of the home hand man.
