Navico WP300cx chorus

Hi Guys

I have recently come across one of these. Does anybody have any experience with this model?
Managed to find a manual online but any personal expertise would be much appreciated.
Was thinking about installing on my Moody 30. The wires have been cut, but all the bits seem to be there. The wheel locks when the clamp is down and the belt looks ok...
It would be working with a Garmin 128.

On the other hand is the Navico WP300cx too old??
