I recently purchased from Defender two 4" Nicro day/night
solar vents.
It took me more than 30 days to get them installed and when I did I found that they did not run very fast at all. Defender only gives 30 days for an exchange. Then it is up to the manufacturer.
A call to Marinco gave me info on how to check whether it was the
battery or the unit itself. As it turns out it was the
batteries. One bad,bad, one just bad. Also one unit had been torqued at assembly and the o-rings were damaged.
Another call to Marinco with the info and in a few days I got
batteries and o-rings (lots of them).
