Re: Katadyn Repair Parts Policy

Any one figure out a reasonable price replacement membrane?
$350 is not cheap when you can find it.

Looks good - I see that SCUBA uses these hoses. I can't find out the type of end fittings on the watermaker or their thread and pitch. Anyone know?

What I need is to get the high pressure brine water pipes connected together. I can get something cobbled together at the local hydraulics place but it will cost about $500 AUD. So I would rather do better than that for a 450mm long piece of hose.

The hose has to connect the two arrows (I think). Both ends are male fittings.

Any help is very welcome.

Re: Katadyn Repair Parts Policy

It would be nice to know what the thread size is for the PUR 80E fittings. I know the thread size that goes into the waternaker vessel is 1/4 NPT, but the other thread is not tapered and slightly larger. Anyone know the thread type that PUR use in the Powersurvivor 80?

I worked out that the force pushing out on the hose out of a 10mm hose will be about 80N, which is not much. I could use a barbed attachment and two hose clamps that would easily deal with the pressure.
