Import engines US to Mexico

Not sure if this is the right place, but does anyone have info or contacts re importing brand new diesel auxiliaries from the US across the border into Mexico. I am wondering about the costs and potential of problems using a logistics company and having the assurance and insurance that my engines would end up where they were supposed to.
I would like to keep them on my trailer behind my truck but understand that to do that I would have to deal with the process on my own which I don’t feel comfortable doing.
Specifically I’m trying to get the engines from California to Puerto Peñasco Sonora Mexico. Thanks for any help.
Option B will be to use the old engines this short season and bring the boat around and up Baja to Cal and do it next summer.
