Although I have only dealt with them a few times, they seemed well priced and prompt. Out here on the Left coast we have West Marine...Ugh!!! I wish Defender would come out here and give them a run for their money!

the last piece of gear i bought from them was $550 in the catalog. but six months before it had been 'on sale' for $500. when i mentioned that to them they gave me the lower price, even though the sale had ended months before....
