Eno two burner stove not hanging horisontal

Hi, our Eno two burner stove has a 5 drg. list to Port when hanging free in the brackets - anyone having an idea why it’s not hanging horisontal?

You might want to 1)check that the gas hose moves freely and nothing is hampering it’s motion. 2) something might be under the stove inhibiting it to swing level. 3) the mounting gimbal locations are not 100% in line (slightly offset). Good luck

Eno stoves are not that well balanced at all. Had to fix 2.5 kg iron bar below front edge of ours.

I also had to add weight to get my 2 burner Eno to sit level. Its no big deal, and actually makes the unit more stable. I used a lead weight I made from melted auto tire balancing weights. You can get them free from your friendly tire company. I poured something like 1.5kg liquid lead into a routed out cavity in a piece of wood. Melt the lead outside in an old sauce pan with a propane torch. I like the ENO, well made, easy to use, and keep clean.

Well the Eno stove isn’t a Force 10, which we replaced an old eno stove with. Perfectly balanced, much more robust design and components. But also more $.

Once you've checked it is free to gimbal, then the easiest is to take an old dive weight, and place it in the bottom of the oven so the stove hangs level. Of course, you can do as suggested above, and make your own weight, too. AVOID INHALING THE FUMES when you boil the lead. Those vapours are toxic.
