Best Marine upholstery adhesive

Hey all I have to glue a bunch of vinyl cloth to some painted fiberglass that has ports (that may of may not leak) and sees humidity. Anyone have any preferences on marine upholstery adhesives? 3m Spray trim adhesive comes up as an option as does Camie 676. Anyone have any experience with these? I'm looking to never do this job again.

We use 3M Supper 77. You're going to want the fiberglass deglazed and wiped down with acetone

You should still be good with the 77 as long as the paint has a good bond and is CLEAN. No wax, no shine and free of all contaminants.

I think I will hit it with some 60 grit first. Have you had any experience with that stuff and humidity/moisture?

Re: Best Marine upholstery adhesive

I own a marine repair facility and have used it a lot. We've seen some weakening of the bond on horizontal surfaces exposed to direct sun. But I think it is more to do with the vinyl breaking down than the adhesive. When we pull back the stiffened vinyl the adhesive is still well adhered to the substrate.
