Hmmm. So they give you 150 amp hours at the 20 hr. rate vs. 225 amp hours for a pair of T105's... do I have that right?

But they are a bit less costly and take up less space, I believe.

on edit: plus the T1275 weighs less than the pair of T105's. Not an insignificant consideration when looking at a bank of batteries.

I got 4 of them for 600 amps. L12.9 x W7.125 x H10.9
I got them because they're an inch lower than T105's as I don't have the height. Also don't need a lot more battery cables. I am replacing 2 4D AGM's (about 400 amps) which weren't quite enough for my requirements. Considerably cheaper than the two AGM's too.

A pair of T105's gives you 225 amps.

1275 batts

I have had two of these for almost two years. They are a group 31, "Tall"

They were at the time the highest capacity batts I could fit into my existing battery boxes. The flipup caps make watering very easy.

Aren't group 31's usually from 90 to 125 amps? The T1275's are 150 amps. Does the "tall" make a difference?

BCI "Groups" specify dimensions, not capacity.

Thanks Gord,

I guess these T1275's aren't anything listed in the BCI battery size chart.

Right - Trojan's 12 VOLT DEEP-CYCLE BATTERIES don't comnform to BCI sizing specifications.

I think I can get a 90ah West Marine batteries for $89 with my port supply card. It is between that and the 1275s. I am not sure what to do. I will probably go cheap.
