Anyone have Experience with Fendertex inflatable fenders?

Fendertex seems to be a Euro brand and newish to Northamerica.

https://fendertex.eu/gb/#

They are now being sold by Fishery Supplies in Seattle, WA. PYI seems to be the local wholesaler.

I lost two fender this Winter from storms (they burst). Purchased one of these Fendertex, sight unseen, for a trial.

Seems well made but very light weight, not sure it will stand the test of time...

Anyone have long term experience with these?

The two fender I lost this winter were Polyforms (f2).

My boat has been vinyl-wrapped, so considering switching to something softer than a conventional fender ( like hyphalon).

These Fendertex seems like one of the more cost effective options in this category. I recognize it's a lot of money for a fender....

No experience with Fendertex inflatable fenders, but I've been using these inflatables for many years now. I have the heavy duty versions. They're incredibly tough, yet easily stowable when deflated.

Re: Anyone have Experience with Fendertex inflatable fenders?

I use Aere inflatable fenders traveling through Canadian and American locks, rough walls and pillings. Call Aere customer service and ask about the proper size and the proper spacing. Normally fenders explode if too few are used or, too small in size, or exposed bolts or sharp muscle shells/barnacles are present. Aere inflatable fenders are found on many mega yachts and have been in business a long time which is a good testimony as to their reliability.

Thxs for your input. Aere do look very well made and seem to have a good waranty. I'll call them.

I see they inflate to a very low 1 PSI, vs Fendtex 5 psi. Are they a bit squishy? So for eg is a 12 inch diameter fender more comparable to a conventional 10 inch bec there is not much resistance for the 1st 2 inches?

Buy them in Europe from Plastimo. Cheapest on the market and also get lost like the expensive ones.
