Peace. I have nothing to do with the quote from General Sheridan that compared Texas to hell. Texas is a nice place and I would have studied at UT Austin if I had not gone to Berkeley.
I was just making the point that we cannot treat call another country (or part of it, or its citizens, or its authorities) "********" just because they do not agree to sign a treaty even if it has been signed by many countries.
And yes, according to respectable sources such as Amnesty International and President Obamaīs administration (another link here) it is indeed true that Texas routinely does "violate international law" or "breaches international obligations" by failing to inform foreigners promptly upon arrest of their right to contact his embassy for assistance, as required under Article 36 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations. That may sound horrendous to many, but most civilized people agree that this is not a reason to insult Texas, Texans or the governor of Texas. Donīt you agree?
I am sorry if my choice of example did not go well with you. I was just trying to keep things civil. Furthermore, I will apologize to you if you can give me a clue as to evidence pointing evidence that article 36 of the Vienna Convention was complied with in the Saldaņo and Leal cases.
Letīs go back to antifouling please...
Cheers

Re: Antifouling in Florida
To answer the OP's question, I use Super Shipbottom, and have had good results from Texas, Florida, Mexico, Panama. As RTB said, I get not grass, but soft growth, slime as Pettit calls it, and after 50 miles of sailing its gone. If not leaving the slip, just a wipe with a glove cleans it.

Working for Chevron. Currently serving time on GC 205 Genesis Spar but have worked every where from MC 650 Blind Faith to over in the SMI, VR and EI blocks. Good to see a fellow offshore hand on here!
