No first hand experience, but:
1. Check with Dick Markey at the Paradise Village Marina. He's been around "forever" and knows the local vendors and craftsmen.
2. Contact Ivett Pegueros (A Stitch in TIme). ph 322.121.1802 or 322.292.0721. Her husband is a very good all-around
boat "engineer/manager" and can do or manage/coordinate all kinds of
work. He is American and a
boat owner so really understands what cruisers need and want. I've used both her and her husband (Sorry, can't find his card and don't remember his name off hand) for many boat projects and always satisfied. Ivett's
email is her full name as above (but no spaces) at gmail.com.
3. Get on the morning
VHF net and ask.
4. Many folks
purchase a less-expensive window unit locally and fabricate a hood/adapter to make it fit either the
companionway (hassle) or a
hatch.
