Nay. Not everybody. I like the low side too. When spray is flying, the drier part of our cockpit is under the lower side dodger. Also, when the wind is very light, I believe I feel the boat better driving from the lower side (probably an old habit from the racing days).

Boatman my 23 ft flushdeck has no handholds or toerails so my

couple of fixed tethers and one short clipped to harness works 4 me. Cheers mate.
