My
dinghy has evolved over the years. Started out with 9' sailing
hull. Put together
mast and rig originally out of chain link fence rail, and cut down old
jib to make gaff rig main and
jib. Later upgraded to 2"aluminum
mast. After I sunk it I decked out
boat leaving pockets to sit in with
insulation foam, filled void with pourable foam , then glassed over. Has laid up dagger. Need to do new
rudder, broke 2 so far made of
wood. I'm thinking of making one out of old
outboard bracket and grp. Was thinking would make survival
boat,after going through some 7' breaking waves not so sure. Was one wild ride was just lucky to stay upright during very short ride.I chickened out and went back behind jetty.
