Would not have mattered if they did. If you donít go, they just find another captain

could have lowered the legs which would have improved stability but would have slowed them way down.
He could have turned back and looked for work
with another company. USCG is not your only source of weather
information out there.
Even with every door tight, legs up is real dangerous. Every lift boat
crew knows that fact. Get it done or get off the boat
