Re: Piracy :-/

Wow, you've got a Seagull? I take my sou'wester off to you....those might not be trendy, but they come from the days where built in redundancy was still regarded as somewhat fraudulent. Still, be careful...might be a discerning thief about.

Re: Piracy :-/

Four part protection plan:

1. Tacks on the deck.
2. Air horn that discharges the moment someone steps on deck.
3. Liberal dose of Grizzly Bear spray.
4. 12 gauge flare gun right between the eyes

Re: Piracy :-/

Just don't forget where the tacks and airhorn-trigger are when you go on deck still groggy from sleep. There was a case some years back where a belgian man was "slightly" paranoid about intruders and boobytrapped his house. Thoroughly and diligently. He forgot one of his little suprises and succeeded in bringing his body temperature to room temperature. If I remember correctly, he had wired a shotgun to a stack of plates. His last meal was. The police bomb squad had some months of fun trying to find all his little toys, and eventually ended up simply demolishing the house rather than risk a new tenant joining the previous one.

I would be a bit upset if someone came to our zoo's and started spraying our Grizzly's.

Your British Seagul should be safe. Nobody aspires to one.

You hit yourself with a flare gun , how does that help.

Or do you actually hit the other guy with it, why not use something less expensive. if you miss the gun goes over the side

If someone is close enough to hit between the eyes with a flare gun then close enough to hit with an axe. and a lot more effect . "you" do have an axe?
