What ever ya decide to bring for clothing, don't pack it in anything you would normaly use for airplanes !! no wheeled or hard sided luggage! pack it in a soft duffle bag if ya have one or get a surplus service Bag of some sort just make sure it's soft!! I have always cked by sea bag thru with my knife and such in it ! never had a problem yet ! I like MY stuff don't like to depend on the boat or try to buy things when I get anywhere!! Just my 2 cents

Sorry, I forgot about the carry-on-an-airplane-TSA insanity. No knives, liquids, etc.
Those guys don't make me feel safer any more than poison oak makes me feel safer.
