It depends, we have a solid dink ! With sail, oars, and a small outboard. Sometimes we use it everyday, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week, but we still lift it and lock it every time we use it ! Never lost a dink,Yet, never hope to ! but they are gonna have to work to get ours ! Just sayin we are poor folks, and dinks cost money, so we take no chances! I guess if the work to lift your dink costs more then a new dink then ya can leave it afloat, and buy a new one every so offen !!
