Thanks to everyone for their inputs. I finally decided on the Switlik Offshore Passage Raft with the toroidal ballast, hard case, 24 hr kit and hydrostatic release which will be mounted on deck just aft of the mast. We saved about $600 because of the boat show pricing which ends Monday.
