Might not be the answer your looking for, but a dodger and Bimini keep you pretty dry.

Big up front cost, but you can fit them on nearly any keelboat and they won't do any harm to your resale value.

Bingo, it's really nice to be in shorts and a t-shirt nice and dry when the poor shlubs are huddled in their weather gear">foul weather gear.
