Hurricane Lorena in the Sea of Cortez

Hi all,

I just saw that Lorena jogged east and is now heading up the east coast of the Baja peninsula. Does anybody have any news about damage or flooding in the La Paz area? That's where my boat lies, and this was a bit of a surprise. Any news would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Bill

Re: Hurricane Lorena in the Sea of Cortez

Bit of rain, not much wind (30-35 knts) in La Paz.
I think you're in MLP - I'll take a look when I head to the dinghy dock later today.

Barra Navidad took a direct hit I am told. Any news out of there?

LaManzanilla, on the South side of Bahia Tenacatita looks OK to me.
It's just a few miles North of Melaque and Barra de Navidad.

I know Mexico has lots of towns with the same names. Is there another Barra Navidad in SOC?
