Since we're getting pedantic here, the "rest of the regulation" is exactly what I quoted. You are in compliance, because the placard is required in each of your
zero machinery spaces. I assume you don't have a
bilge and ballast
pump control station, so you're good there, too.
By law, exactly
zero oily waste placards are required on your vessel.
My citation would only be misleading if someone neglected to read the entire first sentence of § 155.450.
