Health Visa No Longer Required for the Bahamas

From an email I received from the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism a few minutes ago:

THE BAHAMAS ELIMINATES THE HEALTH VISA FOR ALL TRAVELLERS AND REMOVES TESTING FOR VACCINATED TRAVELLERS ONLY

STREAMLINED ENTRY PROTOCOLS TAKE EFFECT 19 JUNE 2022.

In addition to eliminating the mandatory Bahamas Travel Health Visa, the Government of The Bahamas has announced that fully vaccinated travellers will no longer be required to submit to pre-travel COVID-19 testing to enter the country. All unvaccinated travellers ages 2 and older will be required to obtain a negative COVID-19 test — either a negative RT-PCR test or a Rapid Antigen test — taken no more than three days (72 hours) prior to travel and present the negative test results at check-in before travel to The Bahamas. Changes go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, 19 June 2022. To read the full press releases, please see below. https://www.bahamas.com/pressroom/th...all-travellers

Funny how a couple days ago we had folks on here saying the health visa was a cash grab that would never go away, curious what they have to say now?

No you're not,you just need to argue with those who have different perspectives than you.

For those who travel frequently to the Bahamas this is big (and welcome) news. Since you have told us there is no reason to ever go there, it's unclear why you feel the need to continue to jump into the conversation only to criticize? Not sure if you're trying to argue that the removal of the requirement is just "a perspective" rather than the simple fact? Sometimes "different perspectives" turn out to just be an uninformed personal opinion that is dead wrong. It seems it would be much better to learn from the experience instead of pulling out euphanisms and criticizing the person who brings the news and points it out? Nothing to argue here my friend, but thank you for answering my question nonetheless, your response is enlightening.
