sanding these.
My dad developed a severe allergy to lignum vitae as a naval
carpenter during WWII, probably resulted in his Chronic Obstructive Lung disease that eventually killed him. Lignum Vitae was commonly used for
propeller shaft bearings. Guess the message is wear a respirator when working with rare/exotic
wood species (teak included).
