Crewsaver < Crewsaver Industrial and Leisure safety Equipment manufacturers > Crewsaver > Home >, a UK manufacturer of lifejackets and other lifesaving equipment, has announced that its lifejacket servicing department has detected a problem with United Moulders' Mk3 Standard Automatic Head that was fitted to Crewsaver Crewfit and Survivor inflatable lifejackets manufactured prior to 1997.

Tests indicate that this component is now at the end of its safe and usable life and should be replaced.

"It is essential that the head replacement be undertaken by Crewsaver and on no account should you attempt to replace this yourself," says the company.

Crewsaver strongly recommends that owners of Crewsaver Crewfit or Survivor lifejackets with an Mk3 Standard Automatic Head fitted to contact Crewsaver on
