equipment, has announced that its lifejacket servicing department has detected a problem with United Moulders' Mk3 Standard Automatic
Head that was fitted to Crewsaver
Crewfit and Survivor inflatable lifejackets manufactured prior to 1997.
Tests indicate that this component is now at the end of its safe and usable life and should be replaced.
"It is essential that the
head replacement be undertaken by Crewsaver and on no account should you attempt to replace this yourself," says the company.
