Cheap, cool, Stocking Stuffer - Must have
Well, finally what we have all been waiting for, the Davis self inflatable key FOB. Tired of that lumpy foam in your pocket with questionable floatation values as the keys increase on the ring, well now here is your answer - cheap too:

30 sec's is a long time,If you were in really deep water maybe, but if it was only 35' and rocky the keys could get lodged in a little crevice or such.I would imagine keys would be down inside while sailing as they are not needed for anything.Anyway,It would be apropriate for sailors to have a spare set considering the medium in which the live/sail.Mudnut.

I can't tell you how many times I am walking down the dock towards the car and have to chide myself about trying to take my keys out of my pocket before I am off the dock.

unless dropping your keys is something that happens once every 10 years or so, this little gadget could get expensive to replace every time your keys get wet

I spent a little more on my engine key float, nearly ten bucks IIRC.
Or course, mine isn't so pretty and won't quite float as many ounces, but it did come with a nice ten dollar bottle of wine attached to it.<G>

The established residents in our harbor all keep a magnet on board. It is very wel known who has magnets I have been lucky so far, but considering the regular key floats that you get at all the boat shows will only float 2 or 3 keys, and are so big they won't fit in your pocket, I think this is a neat item.

At $7.00 for a FOB, why would I repack it SkiprJohn? I haven't bought one of these as I just became aware of it only a couple of days ago. I too don't like the lump in my pocket with the foam jobbie I currently use.

Need a Volunteer
Hi.
I know this isn't exactly the post for this put I saw at least one BC resident here so I need some help. I have a new anchor coming in from Florida called the box anchor that I need tested. I have one coming in sometime in December and I need someone local to test it and see if it is okay for our waters. Anyone local willing please contact me. I could also arrange a gift certificate for that customer. I appreciate your time and help.
Thanks

Box Anchor
They come in sizes up to 40'. They have an extra large model they say is good for larger but they do not give specs on how large. They can be found at www.slideanchor.com .
Thanks
