Buying an EPIRB in the US and reprogramming for Canada
So the same EPIRB ACR 2831 GlobalFix v4 Cat II EPIRB The GPS Store is literally double the price in Canada vs the US - $350 vs $700.

Has anyone bought a US epirb and had it reprogrammed for Canada and then registered it? Was it hard/expensive?
