delivery cats on a regular basis on our
east coast. If you are also a licensed ham
radio operator, the SA Maritime Mobile Net broadcasts on 14.316MHz at 06:30Z and again at 11:30Z each day, giving
weather info first to yachts in the
Indian Ocean and then to those in the Atlantic. When along the SA coast, the net runs on 7120 KHz at the same time slots. They will not
route you - just supply you weather - but I
route boats from
Cape Town via
email or SMS to your sat
phone - doing two at the moment from Durban to Cape Town. John.
