Wanted: Florida Paper Charts

Anyone have any paper charts for Pensacola to the keys that they would like to sell?

Sailors Exchange in St Augustine, or Sailor Man in Fort Lauderdale. Both have a huge selection of used paper charts. they could possibly ship them as well. If not try bluewater books or landfall navigation. I think the NOAA chart viewer is worth a try. not sure if you can print em tho.

Maptech's Region 8 Chartkit with all of the charts for the west coast of Florida, and a companion CD with the same charts, is only $129.00 at West Marine. Unless you want to make a second career out of up-dating old charts with the NTM's, the Chartkit is worth the investment.

Thanks for the replies. The maptech book for $129 is what I would like, but don't want to buy new. We only will use it for one season, so I would like used. We have NOAA charts with open cpn, and a chart plotter, but would like paper as well. I just printed the NOAA chart booklet for Key West to the Mississippi River, it is good but not much detail. Would still like affordable paper charts.

I've seen new Maptech chartkits on eBay for around $92 or so, but I don't remember if Region 8 was one of them. Take a look there and over on the SSCA classifieds for some used sets.

The more detailed charts are available in booklet form as well.

I've printed out two binders full of booklets to include all the west coast charts. They are not printed to scale, but a set of dividers can be used to mark positions by calibrating off the charts edge lat lon markings.

Hope I don't get flamed for that, but it works.
