Yes, I hear you Ed. I have been trying to hire a Mac programmer for quite some time now with no luck. I've also tried to use cross platform development tools, but they all seem to end up delivering the 'least common denominator' type results, which is not what I would want to deliver to customers. It will happen.....eventually.

Bump from the dead.

VPP is looking pretty old in the tooth and seems to crash quite a bit on windows 10. Is there any work on Version 3?

Re: Visual Passage Planner

VPP2 is quite stable for me on Win 7 Pro. What is the nature of the crashes on Win 10? What do the logs say?

Jimmy Cornell questions the use of the older pilot chart data due to climate change. His son Ivan Cornell did a lot of data analysis and manipulation to cull and weight the data to generate Jimmy's Ocean Atlas (https://cornellsailing.com/publicati...s-ocean-atlas/). At one time, Ivan planned a software tool like VPP. I haven't heard anything about that in some time. I know Jimmy was frustrated at the lack of progress when I last saw him. I suspect the project has fallen off the table.

Have you tried writing to Digital Wave?
