tides and currents

I tried to find the tides and currents tcd database for the UK and the Netherlands on the The web site formerly known as FlaterCo page (mentioned in the OpenCPN manual), but wouldn't know where to find these files. Could anybody help?

Is there anything I did wrong?

Re: tides and currents

Probably in the same manual you'll find how to install another tide table. In the directory (Windows 7):
C:\ProgramData\opencpn
create a new directory:
C:\ProgramData\opencpn\UserTCData
Inside this directory create a new directory your own tide files, f.i.
C:\ProgramData\opencpn\UserTCData\Kanaal
and put the harmonic files in this directory.

@George64
In 3.2.x it's no longer necessary to create such a separate directory.
Just point Options->Charts->Tides&Currents->Add Directory to where your files are.

@everheugd

Try to remove the other tidal files so you just have the new ones. They could partly cover each other. It's easier to see that way. The data source is stated in each tidal dialog, so you can identify the new files that way as well.
You can also control what's up by checking the opencpn.log file. Look for lines like
"Loading Tide/Current data source: "
