The Exuma Guide or Yachtsman's Guide

We want to purchase a cruising guide for the Exumas. Which one do you recommend: The Exuma Guide (Pavlidis) or The Yachtsman's Guide to the Bahamas ?

We already have updated Explorer Electronic Charts and Explorer Chartbook.

Pavlidis' guide is the best. I am very disappointed with the Yachtsman's Guide. I have two copies, one from 1989 and one from 2002. The 2002 one has much of the same dated info as the 1989 one. Also they have not kept up with the changes in the Bahamas and still have outdated sketch charts whereas Pavlidis has very accurate chartlets. Don't waste money on the Yachtsman's Guide. There's not much there that you won't find in the Explorer charts. What's the name of your boat. I'll be there in "Breathless" sometime in December or early January.

Thanks for the input. I just placed an order for Pavlidis' guide.
