Simrad NSE chart display options

I installed a second NSE 8 display on the boat and in order to get the same map displayed on both MFD's I had to purchase a Navionics chart on an SD chart.

Now I have indeed the same map displayed on both MFD's. However the map presentation is very different from the previous one displayed on the primary MFD from the internal Navionics chart data.
I have been searching for display options to change this but was unable to find the option to change the presentation.
In the SD card map presentation land AND sea are yellow. In the single MFD presentation the sea area deeper then 10 meters is just white.
I much prefer that presentation.
Any input on how I can change this?

Re: Simrad NSE chart display options

I have two NSS units, so specific operations may not be the same as your NSEs. But I'll offer what I can.

First, are these two units linked using Simnet? This would allow both units to access the chart data from a single SD chip.

When my two chartplotters have different displays, it has usually been because I updated the software on one unit and forgot to update the other one. Make sure both chart plotter are using the same version of software.

If the software is the same version and the two displays still don't match up, then on the NSS there is access to chart display options from the main screen>menu>chart display options. May be different on the NSE.

Good luck!

SOLVED!!! Installing the chart from the SD card activated the "Display All” option by default. Selecting the customized option and then deselect "Display bottom type” solved displaying this irratating seabottom color.
