Re: Sat2Chart
Hi Paul, I made the change in the Sat2Chart.Options.txt called AREAGPXKML= . Ran sat2chart but after the elevation box is checked OK there is an error no elevation checked. also I noticed that in Options.txt OVERLAYCHART= there is nothing after = . Should there be?
Thanks for your help
Mike

Re: Sat2Chart
Not sure what you mean by " error no elevation checked" ? Are you creating a chart from Google earth? If so you probably have not set up Google earth. Open the Help and see Google Earth/Configuring Google Earth/ and set it up.
The OVERLAYCHART is OK

Re: Sat2Chart
Hi Paul, Yes I am creating a chart from google earth. I double checked google earth configuration and it is correct. The error is no zoom levels were selected for polygon!
create_Charts_Path failed!

Re: Sat2Chart
mikedodd,
What kind of chart are you creating? Did you not get a window like that attached to select the height?

Re: Sat2Chart
Hi Paul, I'm creating a chart from a polygon created in Opencpn. Yes I did get a window like that, clicked ok. it starts making the chart then stops and then the error message shows up in the first sat2chart pane. I followed the procedure in tutorial # 10. Now when I restart the program a window pops up saying the curser was moved into the taskbar. Do you want to terminate processing. If I click yes sat2chart freezes. I wonder if there is a problem with my computer.
thanks Mike

Re: Sat2Chart
I think other fields are incorrect in the Sat2Chart.Options post it.
Moving the cursor to the bottom of the screen is the way to pause processing. Its normal.
