Nevermind,

Reproduce the problem and then send me theSat2Chart.log
My email is in the help and the log is in directory that Sat2Chart is installed in.

Re: Sat2Chart

My bitch:
Its nearly 10 years since I wrote the first version of GE2KAP. During that time if someone needed help I always provided it. Sometimes there was a valid bug that made it through our testing. Other times it was a user not following the Help/tutorials. And sometimes it was some sort of anomaly in their system that wasn't in others but I always tried to write some fix to get them running.

Whenever someone asked for some enhancement to the program I would accommodate them if it was possible. Sometimes without even a thankyou.

During all those year the program has been free. Before I retired I didn't care if I got a donation. But now I am living on retirement income the donations don't even cover the yearly expensive of my website.

I thank everyone who ever made a donation but there are users in some countries that have never made a donation and think its their right to use the program with providing any donation.

Maybe in future release I should limit the use to those who have made a donation.

Or maybe I should just pack it in and enjoy my final years without having to deal with some very ignorant people.

Re: Sat2Chart

I cannot remember if I previously sent in donation. CERTAINLY well worth it. And you've been a great help to me (and others). Adding XYZ files most recent addition.

Donation (first or second?) sent today.

Seems reasonable to me to make a donation required. Perhaps a limited or trial version, then donate?

Yep, seems entirely reasonable

Even more so if that enables continued support and development

Good developers who offer good support deserve something in return too.

(I also try to pick and choose my everyday android phone apps based on which developers provide the most support, which have a forum thread, etc, etc)

Thanks for all that you do for the cruising community @phiggins

Re: Sat2Chart

Hi Paul
The matter is C2GPXMKL utility. When I try to convert a Kml file to gpx file every thing go well only if in the Kml file ( downloaded from G.E pro ) there is a Path.
Attached the screenshot when I try to convert a simple picture kml file downloaded from G.E.pro.

I'm doing it wrong?

Re: Sat2Chart

Thank you Paul for the quick replay. Just a little different question: I know that the tile option and Polygon and path are no supported when the "create the chart" from is Google Earth. But that is also true ( the tile is grey) when I try to create a chart with a G.E. and kap file?

Re: Sat2Chart

Sorry Paul to bother you but I'm stuck. I downloaded again either G.E, version 7.3.3.7786 and Sat2chart V. 12.0.3.0 but nothing has changed after G.E. configuration. May be to "create a chart" with tile checked, G.E. and kap file or mb tiles was correct with the old version of G.E.?
