Smile Santa can you give me a.............

OK, what is on your wish list for a cruising present from Santa? Doesn't have to be realistic, but it would be nice to know what others want. Here is mine.......

A website where you can enter 2 waypoint GPS coordinates, and an optimal sailing path is calculated based on the predicted wind. It would be really nice if you could add the maximum winds you can tolerate and how close hauled you can sail. While you are at it, a tide/current factor would be nice.

Somebody else to go up the mast to service the steaming light and topping lift.

If such a site existed, could it be monetized? 'Cause it's a good idea.

BTW

I would like a folding steering wheel, and a diesel generator, and a diesel heater, and a water maker.

Eyeblack: Try Predictwind.com. It does what you want and you can buy routing that has winds and currents for very little.
