Don't bank on 2-3 weeks on the de-registration... everything has to go back to France to be checked and stamped etc... took 10weeks before I got the papers back for a French Bene 321 I bought in St Martin...

The charter company told me 10 days. As I understand, the boat can't be moved until the process is complete?
