Great update!

I gave your script a try by using the latest RWS file. Put the CSV, and the User Icons, and the .sh in the same folder. Next I ran the script. On my screen it shows:

Open this file via routemanager as a temporary layer, however it does not show the buoy signs.

Am I overlooking something?

Fixed it

RTFM....

Create directory UsersIcons where opencpn.ini is located and unzip the usericons from RooieDirk to that directory.
