I'm looking for who has the best paper
charts for the
eastern Caribbean from the DR to Trinidad
and the best prices.
Among those I've heard of are:
Caribbean Yachting
Charts (CYC), Imray,
MapTech, British Admiralty and the US NIMA/NOAA charts.
Bluewaterweb sells Imray charts for $27 each with a few at $12.
Bellingham Chart Printers has a NIMA chart portfolio from Virgins to
Grenada of 33 charts for $262.
Landfall
Navigation has the four sets of CYC charts from Virgins to
Grenada at $250. They are at a scale of 1:90000 for area charts and 1:500000 for
passage charts. Also they're coordinated with Chris Doyle's Guides.
I'm thinking of getting the
MapTech CD CYCSET which has about 100 charts on it covering the Virgins to Grenada for $250. I've heard that the charts are from a German company.
Thanks,
