Raymarine E Series Offset

Has anyone had problems with the chartware on the Raymarine E Series?
I have Just installed this on "Walter Mitty" in Papua New Guinea along with Radar, Depth Etc. with the Gold Chart for the south pacific BUT the chart show me moored 600 metres from where I am. As I leave home I apparently sail thru the airport runway and travel over 2 islands before clearing the Harbour mouth.
Raymarine have taken the facility to correct this offset out of the E series and say it is not their fault it is Navionics who need to upgrade their charts. I Have upgraded charts from Navionics with no change.
Has anyone else had this problem ?
I am very disappointed as I paid almost $13,000 for this system.

Re: Raymarine E Series offset

Have you verified that the chart datum hasn't been inadvertently switched from WGS84?

Re: Raymarine E Series Offset

Thanks but yes the datum is correct WGS84....
I have even tried various other Datums but nothing seems to work...
Just doesn't seem right taking the offset function out of the new series.. Raymarine says it is because people sometimes forgot to reset when changing areas.
