I didn't think to include a sample with the Destination
I agree the position coordinates and those 5 dashes are the components that most often break the syntax from our experience... [We call it shooting blanks since no position report is posted on Farkwar because it cannot parse our incorrectly formatted email.]
Our coordinates are copied from OpenCPN
on a laptop
computer, and fortunately that works. [so far...]
Because we have broken our own reports on occasion, I subscribed our email address to our own boat
['Follow'] so we receive a confirmation email that a new position has been reported. [Cross-check...] When we are on sat mail, I don't download the email; the header is enough confirmation... This works well for us when we are away from the internets for periods of time...
