North Creek inlet passage on Grand Turk Island

Our monohaul draws 7.5' - Can we get into the anchorage on Grand Turk through the North Creek inlet?

No. Full moon high tide maybe but there are two spots you'll have to bull through or heel it over.

Re: North Creek inlet passage on Grand Turk Island

You can anchor down South near the cruise pier. Both North and South of South Dock is deep and good holding in most spots. You can stop at Great Sand Cay south of Salt Cay or if brave go through Big Cut and anchor by Cotton Cay or Hawksnest but Hawksnest is all turtle grass.

If you need to provision Luperon is much cheaper than anywhere in the TCI.

Get Stephen Pavlidis' book "A Cruising Gude to the Turks and Caicos Islands."

South Caicos is easy entry but can be rolly. Long Cay might be a bit tight if you draw 7.5'
