new Raymarine autopilot does not work in TRACK MODE

My old autopilot broke down, so I bought a new set: Raymarine ACU-400 + EV1 + P70s.
But I kept the following old Raymarine devices: chartplotter RL80C, 2x ST60 (wind and speed+depth), radar and GPS antenna.
ACU-400 + EV1 + P70s are connected via STNG, while the old devices are connected via ST1 and then with STNG via STNG/ST1 converter.
Autopilot works fine in AUTO and WIND WANE mode, but does not want to work in TRACK MODE (message "NO NAVIGATION DATA" is displayed).
All cable connections have been triple checked and are ok. GPS position is in STNG/ST1 network because chartplotter sees position.
Could someone help to solve the problem?
I would be very grateful...

Sure. First some things to check: you must have a fast GNSS as well as Heading sensor with gyro correction connected to the fast stng network. I think one of the new items you bought is that heading sensor but do make sure.

The data that is missing is what should be sent by the device that you activated a route or simple “goto” on. This would be a plotter, tablet etc.
so you must check that this device does show an active route and that this data can get to the autopilot computer. Also, you may need to tell the autopilot which device is sending that data (in settings). Thus is best done while you have an active route/goto as it often auto-detects this in settings.

If your plotter is old st only, the the converter to stng may not translate this or it may not even translate in two directions.

Re: new Raymarine autopilot does not work in TRACK MODE

The cable from the GPS antenna enters the ST1 network and then goes through the converter to the STNG. The heading sensor with gyro correction (Evolution EV1 Sensor Core) is connected to the STNG network. GO TO waypoint is active in the chartplotter. So everything seems to be OK here.
But I don't understand your last sentence:
"If your plotter is old st only, the converter to STNG may not translate this or it may not even translate in two directions"
Can you elaborate on this? What can I do? How to check the communication between old chartplotter and STNG?

You need a new GNSS sensor (GPS only as well as st1 is obsolete and can’t give the rapid updates that are required).

If that doesn’t help then this means that the “goto” doesn’t get translated to the stng network or that that autopilot doesn’t know which device is sending it. I would start with a modern GNSS sensor, then go through the autopilot settings with the goto active.

I currently use different equipment so can’t be more specific. Many setups have menu items about Network or Sources.
