Need to get up to date on Electronics

I am sort of old school as far as navigation is concerned. I even still own a sextent. I have used GPS on my previous boats but these new integrated systems have me totally confused. Our new (to us) trawler has a Simrad chart plotter with radar.

What I am looking for is a recommendation for a book or web site that will get me up to speed

Huge range of instructional video's. Sort video based on your installed equipment product type, and / or watch the generalised ones too.


Raymarine have a good channel on their products too. They also cover subjects such as NMEA networking (SeaTalkNG in Raymarine Speak) Collison avoidance etc, the principals are the same, independant of product line.
