Navionics from MSD card to PC ????

I have an E7 chartplotter with navionics gold 1XG MSD card installed. Via boat US I recently downloaded the Navionic App with a free 1XG download so i can use my PC to 'Plan" trips.
I also have a 3XG MSD card( which I bought) and I thought i would put on the PC as well to help with 'Planning' However I do not seem to be able to do it; not being a geek am I missing something ? Whats the procedure ?

Did you register your 3XG card?

If not, you will need to register your card first before you can view it in the Navionics PC App. Alternatively, you can also use Fugawi Marine ENC to copy your card data to your computer then view it with the program. You can plan and navigate as well.

After you register your 1XG and 3XG make sure you do a Freshest Data update. This will update the MSD card and after you download the PC APP you can refresh the data on your PC as well. Not from the chip but from the web.....

You don't use the Chip to view the charts on your PC.

Once you've registered your Navionics Chart chip and udated it, the PC App will download the chart to your PC, which you can use anytime.

You cn register multiple chart chips, which will all display on the PC App.

From there you can plan routes or make waypoints and transfer them to your chart plotter via a blank SD Card.

The software is a little clunky, but I like the Shared Community. If you enter data on you PC App chart it will be shared with everyone using the PC App. Things like Maina Apps, diving spots and anchorage information.

Go to the Navionics Web Page link to registered your chip
