Re: Navionics charts on Raymarine - no detail

Well not mentioned it yet but I have the same with the Lighthouse charts
Very disappointing looking like a child drew the chart - and actually doesn’t show the coast line correctly accept in Anchor Mode
Where all the detail is present

Re: Navionics charts on Raymarine - no detail

Very weird but I suspect it could be settings related. My examples are for an Axiom+ with Lighthouse 4. Note, you should be looking at an area covered by your chart, as any other area will be very basic (but should still show depths).

On the Chart screen settings select Cartography. Make sure that Nautical Chart is selected - this will be the chart on the SD cart. For whatever reason the Lighthouse Charts option is selected by default and that won’t show any detail if you haven’t bought Lighthouse. Note that each chart view has its own settings.

Next, check the Layers menu. Select Medium or High to see depths.

Next, check Depths and that you’re viewing all depths.

Check Advanced and that all the elements you want are selected for display.

On the chart screen select the mode you want. Simple, Detailed, Fishing, and Racing modes all show depths. We use either Detailed (basically shows everything available in the chart) or Racing (removes data not related to depths).

Re: Navionics charts on Raymarine - no detail

I had the same problem until I checked the network connection plug and found that it was broken in the chartplotter.

Getting the plug fixed cured the problem and I had all the details.

Re: Navionics charts on Raymarine - no detail

Raymarine menu and presentation sub-menues.

Press “Menu”, “Chart Setup”, “Chart Display”, “Extra Detailed”. This will present everything available while “declutter is off.

To turn declutter off while looking at a chart , press “presentation” soft key, then “press “Declutter” to “Off”

Good luck!

I bought a new australia/nz card but you can't activate it on Android. That socks because I only have 2 Android notebook on my boat. There is no preparing until you try to activate and then they tell you that you can't download chart installer on android
