Navionics Android App - question about routes

I have made a new (automatic) route from A to B.
Started sailing from A towards B, without activating the route/app.
Now, somewhere along the way I do activate the route.
What it does, it sends me back to A and then to B.
What I am looking for and cannot find is the option 'follow route from here' (i.e. my current position).
Anyone knows how to do it or is the option unavailable?

I've experienced that as well on my iPad. My solution is to just recreate the route to B from my current position. It only takes a few seconds, and click "Go" and then "Start"
