I'm 24 years old, grew up on boats, and will ALWAYS prefer paper over electronics.
I will bet you do rigorous passage planning as well.

Lost mine going round Cape Wrath, wind blew the map case and chart out of my hands and over it went. No problem we had GPS, that failed when we took a wave over the top in the Pentland Firth.
